YouTube
Connect YouTube (recommended): one tap and a Google sign-in, from any phone. VBallScore creates each broadcast, sets the title and who can watch, and takes it live. Your channel must be enabled for live streaming (YouTube takes about a day the first time).
Disconnect YouTube? We will request revocation at Google and remove this connection's stored YouTube details and replay links from VBallScore. Stop YouTube streaming in active matches first. Your videos on YouTube, match scores, local recordings and reels will not be deleted.
YouTube stream defaults: each match gets its own YouTube broadcast, named from the match (Team A vs Team B). These defaults apply to new YouTube broadcasts, not existing broadcasts or your match page's privacy.
Stream with your channel's own key (optional): VBallScore saves the stream key it already set up on your channel and sends every match straight to it, with no setup per match. Each match asks its own title and who can watch when the scorekeeper turns YouTube on. Turn on Enable Auto-start for the "VBallScore" key in YouTube Studio once.
Advanced: paste a stream key instead
For channels you do not want to connect. Set this up once on a computer: YouTube Studio › Create › Go live › Stream › copy the Stream key, paste it here. VBallScore then sends each match straight to that key with no Google sign-in. YouTube does not report back, so the YouTube button reads LIVE while VBallScore is sending; title, who can watch and Auto-start are set in YouTube Studio.
While a stream key is saved it is used for every match, even if a channel is connected. Saved keys are stored encrypted. Manage VBallScore access at Google
